Theme of the exhibition is transition.
Recycled materials support the theme.
Sounds of transition are not spoken language.
One can try to write them down, although those sounds don't have characters.
When written, they become words, but words without meaning.
In Finnish I wrote down kräks, klops and viuuh.
In other languages their spelling is different, for example in Lithuanian: triokt, bumpt, zvimpt.

Rupture, granite, 50 x 65 cm, 2017
Drop, granite, 58 x 65 cm, 2017
Slink, granite, 48 x 65 cm, 2017
Voice is one-time phenomenon. It disappears in the speed of sound.
Beside these works of art, one can immerse oneself in recalling transitions and their sounds.
I made them out of removed grave stones.
Proof of absence, photograph, 60 x 85 cm, 2017
Picture is taken in the exhibition space in question.
When one enters in the room, the photo shows reality in past.
After one's exit, the very photo shows present situaton.
On-site vs. absent. Time makes transitions possible. Time is transition.
Attempt to exempt, installation of plastic jars, 40 x 180 cm, 2017
Plastic jars are manufactured in molds.
They can't decide their looks or appearance.
I tryed to exempt them by deforming their figure.
But external effect was needed.
How about us, do we have free will?
